JoAnna Black - STAGE MANAGER
This isn’t just JoAnna’s first show with MTYP, but her first in this wonderful city! JoAnna is a recent graduate from the U of A's Stage Management program. Recent Stage Management credits include; Apprentice Stage Manager for The Tales of Hoffman, Aida, Onegin (Edmonton Opera), Little Elephants, The Flight of the Viscount (Shadow Theatre), Macbeth (Driftwood Theatre) and Stage Manager of Parlour Song (Wishbone Theatre), Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo (Studio Theatre) and Dialogues des Carmelites (Halifax Summer Opera Festival). JoAnna is a co-producer of the annual Play in a Day competition (a 24-hr playwriting contest!), and has also worked in film, fashion and event coordination. JoAnna is thrilled to be a part of this fantastic production with this amazing team!

Tristan Carlucci - VICTOR
Since graduating from the University of Winnipeg's Honours Acting program, Tristan has been dividing his efforts between theatre and film, but most recently his focus has been directed towards stunts. Under the guidance of Rick Skene, Tristan has been having a blast pursuing his life long dream of being a stunt man, but "Night Light" represents a long awaited return to the theatre. This is Tristan's first production with MTYP and he could not be happier to be working with such a fantastic artistic team and staff!

Heather Russell - TARA
Heather is a graduate of the Honours Acting program at the University of Winnipeg and a founding member of both Sweet and Salty Collective and The Talentless Lumps. This is her 4th Theatre for Young Audiences tour! Favourite credits include: Dying To Be Thin (MTYP), The Crackwalker (Sweet and Salty Collective), Magical Mystery Munsch (PTE), Top Dog (Sarasvati/Winnipeg Fringe), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Folkspeare) and 13 Plays About Love (Winnipeg Fringe).


Alissa Watson - FARLEY, THE MONSTER

Alissa is thrilled to be making her debut at Manitoba Theatre for Young People as Farley, not to mention crafting her puppeteering skills as The MonsterAlissa spent last winter very similar to this one; touring schools with Prairie Theatre Exchange’s Magical Mystery Munsch!  This fall, she appeared in Manitoba Theatre Centre’s season opener, Harvey, as the boy-crazy, Myrtle MaeFavourite credits include: Harold and Vivian Entertain Guests (Sarasvàti Productions) and The Anger in Ernest and Ernestine (inspired I theatre).  

Alissa has trained at Brandon University, The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and is a graduate of the Professional Training Program at Prairie Theatre Exchange.  Alissa is also a founding member of Winnipeg's only female Bouffon ensemble, The Talentless Lumps.  Off stage, Alissa teaches music and theatre to students throughout the city.
