NIGHT LIGHT on the BIG Stage!

We're OPEN!
We have spent the last week getting the show set in the beautiful theatre at Manitoba for Young People at the Forks.  For the next two weeks we get to stay "home" and have schools and public come to us!
We have had a number of fantastic shows this week and look forward to our public opening tonight.  Join us for the show at 7:00 pm and celebrate with the cast and crew afterwards!

If you can't make tonight's performance we have a number of shows over Spring Break!  Visit MTYP's website for more information.

Also, if you want to see what the show looks like under the lights, check out Martin Lussier's fantastic pictures of the show in the theatre!

Happy Birthday JoAnna!

Celebrating a birthday is always exciting and lucky for us, we got to celebrate with our lovely Stage Manager JoAnna when she had hers on tour!  We tried to make her day really special because she is so special to us!  We even had the student body at Weston and Emerson join us in singing Happy Birthday!
Here are a few pictures from JoAnna's big day.

Even Googe had something to say!

Cathy and Casey from MTYP joined us at Pete's Place for lunch and organized a special treat!

Presents from the cast!

The next day we had lunch at Alissa's house and introduced JoAnna's to Winnipeg's famous "Jeanne's Cakes".

Happy 115th Birthday JoAnna!
WE LOVE YOU!!!

Play Time

One of the best parts about touring schools is playing on all the sweet gym equipment.  This may be the reason Tristan is always the first one in costume before every show:

Disclaimer:  Do not attempt these sweet, sweet moves in your school...ever.  Tristan is a trained professional.

Note: All phys ed teachers were consulted prior to use of equipment.

P.S.  Heather and Alissa have yet to climb any piece of gym equipment.

P.P.S.  JoAnna's feet have always remained safely on the ground. (at least that we have on photographic record)

Amendment:  Heather has in fact climbed one rope ladder.

Sorry for the delay!  We have been busy on the road since we last posted and lots has happened!  Stay tuned for many posts to come!  We had intended on catching up on the blog this weekend as we hit the road again but we had two relaxing nights in the country without Internet instead.

Here is the latest instalment of mascot mayhem...
